Complete Milestone Definitions

Booked / Data Received

Booking

What It Means

The seller has made a shipping label. The courier (Daraz Express or a partner courier) has the booking details, but the parcel may still be at the seller’s warehouse, waiting to be collected.

What Happens Next

A courier rider collects the parcel, or the seller drops it off at a courier station.

Recommended Action

Wait for the first pickup scan to appear. You do not need to do anything.

Picked Up / Received at Origin

Booking

What It Means

The courier has collected the parcel from the seller. It has had its first scan and is on its way to the first sorting hub.

What Happens Next

The parcel reaches the main sorting centre in the seller’s city, such as Karachi, Lahore or Islamabad, to be sorted.

Recommended Action

All normal. More updates will appear as the parcel moves through sorting centres.

In Transit / Linehaul Movement

Transit

What It Means

The parcel is travelling between hubs in different cities. It is not scanned while the vehicle is on the road.

What Happens Next

The vehicle reaches the hub in your region, where the parcel is unloaded and scanned.

Recommended Action

Longer trips between provinces take more time. Check again once the arrival scan appears.

Arrived at Destination Facility

Transit

What It Means

The parcel has reached the local delivery station that covers your address. Staff are sorting parcels into delivery routes for each area.

What Happens Next

The parcel will be given to a local rider on an upcoming delivery run.

Recommended Action

“Out for Delivery” should come next. Keep an eye on your tracking.

Out for Delivery

Delivery

What It Means

A rider has the parcel on a van or motorbike and is out on the delivery route.

What Happens Next

The rider comes to your door, or calls you before arriving.

Recommended Action

Keep your phone on. For cash on delivery (COD) parcels, have the exact cash ready.

Delivery Pending / Rescheduled

Attention

What It Means

The rider could not deliver today, for example because of heavy traffic, rain, the time of day or the end of their shift.

What Happens Next

The parcel goes back to the local hub and is sent out again on a later run.

Recommended Action

Check your SMS for messages from the rider. Another delivery try normally follows on a later working day.

On Hold / Branch Retention

Attention

What It Means

The parcel is being kept at the local delivery office, waiting for your instructions, a clearer address or for you to collect it.

What Happens Next

The courier is waiting to hear from the buyer or the seller before sending it out again.

Recommended Action

Call the courier or Daraz customer support on 021-111-132729 to say when you are available or to arrange collection from the branch.

Delivery Exception / Failed Attempt

Attention

What It Means

The rider tried to deliver but could not. Common reasons are a phone that was off, a locked house, a wrong address or a request for another day.

What Happens Next

The courier usually tries again on later runs before sending the parcel back to the seller.

Recommended Action

Contact customer care soon with your tracking number to check your address and phone number.

Return in Transit

Transit

What It Means

After several failed tries, or if you cancelled or refused the order, the parcel is going back to the seller or a Daraz warehouse.

What Happens Next

The parcel goes back to the warehouse, where it is checked.

Recommended Action

If you paid in advance, watch your Daraz account for refund messages.

Delivered

Terminal

What It Means

You or someone at your address has received the parcel, and any COD has been paid.

What Happens Next

Your 14-day Daraz return window starts from this delivery date.

Recommended Action

Check the item straight away. If it is faulty or wrong, you have 14 days to start a return in the Daraz app.

Returned to Shipper (RTS)

Terminal

What It Means

The return is finished. The seller or the Daraz warehouse has received the parcel back.

What Happens Next

The order shows as Returned in the Daraz app, and any refund that is due is processed.

Recommended Action

Check your Daraz Wallet or card statement for the refund. For COD orders, approved refunds go into your Daraz Wallet.

Cancelled

Terminal

What It Means

The order was cancelled before delivery, by you, by the seller (for example, if the item was out of stock) or automatically by the system.

What Happens Next

There will be no more delivery tries. Any money you paid in advance goes for a refund.

Recommended Action

See why it was cancelled in the Daraz app under “My Orders”.

Status Updating / Unmapped Milestone

Attention

What It Means

We received an update from the courier, but we have not yet matched its wording to one of our standard steps.

What Happens Next

We show the courier’s own words while we sort out the status.

Recommended Action

Read the courier’s wording in the tracking list for details, or check again after the next scan.

Our Statuses vs the Daraz App

In the Daraz app, and on the public tracking page at daraz.pk/track-orders-online/, Daraz shows a few simple steps, such as "Waiting for your order delivery", "Dispatched", "Out for Delivery", and "Delivered".

Our independent tracker shows the courier’s more detailed scans. For example, between “Dispatched” and “Out for Delivery”, you may see steps like In Transit (highway linehaul) and Arrived at Destination Facility (arrived at the local branch), so you can see more of your parcel’s trip.
