Quick Answer

This glossary explains 10 common Daraz delivery words in plain English: Daraz Express (DEX), tracking number (CN), order number, line-haul, Out for Delivery, proof of delivery (POD), cash on delivery (COD), Returned to Shipper (RTS), Daraz Wallet and quality check (QC).

Courier tracking uses a lot of short forms and technical words. When you track a Daraz order, an unfamiliar word can make it hard to know where your parcel is.

Here are plain meanings for the 10 most useful words on Daraz tracking:

Term 1

Daraz Express (DEX)

Daraz Express (DEX) is Daraz Pakistan’s own delivery service. It sorts parcels, moves them between cities and delivers them to customers for Daraz orders.

Term 2

Tracking Number (CN) / Tracking Code

The code given to a parcel by the courier, such as Daraz Express or TCS, once the parcel is shipped. You use this code to track the parcel. DEX numbers often start with ‘PK-DEX’.

Term 3

Daraz Order Number

The number Daraz gives your purchase when you place the order. It links to your order in your Daraz account, but it is different from the courier tracking number.

Term 4

Linehaul Transit (In Transit)

The trip between cities, when parcels travel by road from one hub to another (for example, between Karachi and Lahore). There are no scans while the truck is on the road.

Term 5

Out for Delivery

The last step: the parcel has reached the local delivery office, been given to a rider and is on its way to you.

Term 6

Cash on Delivery (COD)

You pay for your order in cash to the rider when it arrives. Have the right amount ready.

Term 7

Proof of Delivery (POD)

The record that shows the parcel was handed over. It usually includes the date and time and the name of the person who received it.

Term 8

Returned to Shipper (RTS)

A status that means the parcel could not be delivered, or the buyer refused it, so it is going back to the seller. We could not confirm how many tries are made first.

Term 9

Daraz Wallet

The money balance in your Daraz account. For cash on delivery orders, approved refunds after a quality check are paid into your Daraz Wallet.

Term 10

Quality Check (QC)

The check Daraz makes on a returned item. Refund processing begins after the quality check is complete.
