Daraz Failed Delivery Attempt — Re-Attempt Rules & Rescheduling
Quick Answer
When a Daraz delivery fails, the courier (such as Daraz Express, TCS or LCS) usually tries again before sending the parcel back to the seller. We could not confirm how many tries are made. Deliveries often fail when the buyer's phone cannot be reached, the address is unclear or the cash is not ready. Keep your phone on and contact Daraz through the app or on 021-111-132729.
Why Does a Daraz Delivery Fail?
Seeing a failed delivery on your Daraz order is worrying. Riders have many stops each day. When a rider reaches your area but cannot hand over the parcel, a failed delivery is recorded.
Knowing why deliveries fail helps you avoid it. These are the four most common reasons:
1. Phone Not Answered
Riders often call before they arrive. If your phone is off, not answered or has no signal, the rider cannot check that you are home.
2. Address Hard to Find
Some areas have repeated or missing house numbers. Without a landmark or floor number, the rider may not find your address.
3. Nobody at Home
If nobody is at home to receive the parcel, the rider cannot leave it at the door.
4. Cash Not Ready for COD
For cash on delivery orders, the rider collects the full amount before handing over the parcel. If the cash is not ready, the delivery may not go ahead.
How Many Times Does Daraz Try to Deliver?
Many buyers ask how many tries they get before a parcel is sent back. We could not confirm Daraz’s exact rule. In general, it works like this:
- First try: The rider tries to deliver. If it fails, the parcel goes back to the local office and is marked as failed or postponed.
- Next try: Another try is usually made on a later working day.
- Tip: Contacting Daraz quickly and giving clear directions gives your parcel the best chance of being delivered.
If the parcel still cannot be delivered, it is marked Return to Seller (RTS). Once it is on its way back to the seller, it may not be possible to send it to you again.
What to Do Straight Away
If tracking shows a failed delivery today, act quickly before the parcel is sent back:
1. Check for Missed Calls
Check your phone for missed calls from numbers you do not know. If the rider called recently, calling back may let you meet them before they leave your area.
2. Use Live Chat in the Daraz App
Open the Daraz app, go to the Help Center and start a chat. Tell them the delivery failed, check your phone number is correct and ask for another try.
3. Ask Someone to Receive It
If you will be out during the next try, ask a family member, neighbour or receptionist to receive the parcel. For COD orders, leave the exact amount with them.
Cash on Delivery and Your Account
We could not confirm whether Daraz limits cash on delivery for buyers whose parcels are often returned. It is a good idea to be available for deliveries and to keep your address up to date.
Keeping your address up to date and checking your tracking helps your deliveries go smoothly.
