How Cash on Delivery Works on Daraz
Many online shoppers in Pakistan pay cash on delivery. You can order without entering card details online, and pay in cash only when the parcel arrives.

At the Door: What to Expect
1. Opening the Parcel
Buyers often ask whether they can open a parcel before paying. We could not confirm Daraz’s rule, so check with Daraz or the seller before delivery. The rider only delivers the parcel and cannot agree to a return at the door.
2. Exact Cash Preparation
Riders make many deliveries and may not carry much change. Have the exact amount shown in your Daraz order ready before the rider arrives.
3. Proof of Delivery (POD)
When you pay, the rider records the delivery. The 14-day return window is counted from the delivery date.
The 14-Day Return Window
Daraz offers returns for eligible items, which helps protect you when you pay on delivery:
- 14-Day Guarantee: If an eligible item is faulty, damaged, missing parts or not as described, you have 14 days from the delivery date to ask for a return in the Daraz app or on the website.
- Document Upon Opening: It is a good idea to record a short video or take clear photos when you open a parcel, especially for expensive items.
How COD Refunds Work: Daraz Wallet
If you return an item you paid for in cash, this is how the refund works:

For COD orders, Daraz pays approved refunds into your Daraz Wallet after the returned item passes its quality check. The refund is made to your Daraz Wallet.
You can use your Daraz Wallet balance to buy other items. Ask Daraz about any options to move the money to a bank account.
